Holidays and Highways

Let’s not discuss the amount of time that has passed since our last post.

We were just letting the ol blog collect some dust like the antiques we have rattling around here. We had a few good road trips and picks over the summer, and fall is shaping up nicely for us as well.
We head to Memphis this weekend for a spectacular collection, but you know what we are really excited about? Rentals and holiday wish lists!

Seriously, we really like to know what our customers are looking for. Reading minds is a hard game to play for us so when we are given some direction we are sure to help anyone out with their ideas and projects.

We recently received a wish list from a local photographer for her Christmas photo sessions. We fulfilled almost every item she thought she would need. Don’t hesitate to ask us what we have in stock for rental or for purchase, you might be surprised! Terri Starnes Photography is an up and coming photography business local to us in Cherokee County. We got so excited about her ideas for Christmas photos that we not only rented out all of the props for them, but we also booked a family photoshoot to try the scenes out ourselves… To find out more about her sessions and info check out her facebook page:

We are also teaming up with some of our pals this fall that are set directors and decorators for some wonderful theatrical performances. Once again, working with very specific era appropriate props and prop lists that coincide with the scripts and casted characters. We can decorate your set, and we can wardrobe your cast.

For those of you who really don’t care for the holiday posts, and wouldn’t benefit from the rentals we offer we still have something for you!  All of you adamant sign collectors can find us with a superb new selection of advertising pieces and tons of other vintage goods.

We will be at these upcoming shows:

Lakewood 400 Antiques in Cumming, GA. Nov 14-16.

Advertising Collectors Show and Sale. Sat. Nov 22. 8:00am-1:30pm –> 840 County Road 7, Florence AL.

Don’t forget, we still take appointments for shopping experiences in our vintage town as well. Contact us at for information and available times.
